GJEPC to host ‘Jewellers for Hope’ on August 9 in Mumbai
The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the apex gem and jewellery body of India is organising its Annual Charity Dinner, ‘Jewellers for Hope’ in its humble endeavor towards the upliftment of under privileged sections of our society. This black-tie event is scheduled on 9th August from 7.30 pm onwards, at Hotel JW Marriot, Sahar, Mumbai.
Jewellers for Hope, a charity dinner dedicated to make a difference to humanity is a by-invitation only event will be attended by 350-400 leading Jewellers, traders, associations from the gem and jewellery industry apart key decision makers and senior representatives comprising of the who’s who from India’s leading retail chains and premium retail outlets.
“Since its inception in 2014, Jewellers for Hope made generous contributions from diamantaires and sponsors to deserving NGOs such as Make- A-Wish Foundation, Friends of Tribal Society and Swades. In 2017, along with Make- A-Wish Foundation, we chose Girl Rising and Nanhi Kali as beneficiaries as they did some spectacular work in girl child education and upliftment,” stated Sabyasachi Ray

“This year too, we are in process of identifying and tying up with deserving NGOs in our sincere efforts to serve the society in whichever way possible,” he added.
GJEPC has invited its members to come forward and be part of this Industry Initiative for a noble cause. One can buy table at the event for Rs. 3 Lakhs per table. Each table can accommodate 8 guests.
